 he objectives of the KDFSA are to promote the awareness of Kawasaki Disease in South Africa, due to there being insufficient information and awareness of Kawasaki Disease in SOUTH AFRICA, which therefore results in lost of life due to doctors not being able to correctly and efficiently diagnose the disease early and parents being unaware of the effects of this disease, do not know how to respond if their children come up with the symptoms indicated.
